MacBook Air is an ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else laptop. But you don't lose inches and pounds overnight. It's the result of rethinking conventions. Of multiple wireless innovations. And of breakthrough design. MacBook Air MC234B/A Intel Core 2 Duo SL9600 (2.13 GHz), Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, 2048 MB , 128 Go SSD, Silver shell, 13.3 Widescreen

| After shunning Apple's computers, I was initially apprehensive about making a switch to the Macbook Air. But after growing increasingly weary due to the constant viral attacks on my HP laptop - this continuously happened inspite of my expensive investments in what is supposed to be the best AntiVirus software. Just the thought of not having to worry about virus attacks as mac computers do not require anti virus software as they are not susceptible to attack. Any way enough of the reasons I bought this and now about the super MacBook Air. The term "Ultra-portable" doesn't do it justice.... this thing is SUPER thin and light, and feels lighter than the notepads I carry around with me! This machine hit exactly what I needed - mobile internet, mail, Office/iWork use and some dabbling with iPhoto. It's no MacBook Pro, but it's not supposed to be a powerhouse - just a super portable Mac. Exactly what it says on the tin. Battery life is superb, the SSD is really quiet and plenty fast. The Air Disk feature is pretty neat, but if you do lots of installs from CDs or ripping CDs to iTunes, you may want to consider investing in the USB Superdrive. But for me, Air Disk works a treat for when I needed it. In short, if you are mobile and want everything a Mac can give you, the MacBook Air is the lightest, sexiest way to switch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! | |
